Intubation/Rapid Sequence Intubation Checklist

Checklist are a tool that has been proven to be useful in stressful or high risk situations and help to eliminate errors. This includes Intubation with or with Rapid Sequence Intubation (RSI).

The Intubation/Rapid Sequence Intubation Checklist is designed to be used to setup/prepare for the Intubation/RSI procedure and then to complete a final verification prior to performing. 

There are many RSI checklist available. However, this card is a game changer. It’s not only a simplistic reference. But you receive a custom RSI medication, water resistant decal to place on the backside of the card- (you email what you would like printed on it after purchase. So you choose whatever you want! Can be sent as a Word/Pages file or Image). So you have your drug dosages available with the card and don’t need another resource. The card is made out a material that you can use a dry erase marker to document right on the card (marker included).

The backside also has a area to perform your med math and a place to write your Induction/Paralytic Drug dosages and your post intubation/RSI sedation and analgesia drug dosages.

* REMEMBER SEDATION ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH. YOUR PATIENT SHOULD BE GIVEN SOMETHING FOR PAIN

It also is designed to prompt you to figure out and confirm how many  ML’s should be drawn up for each medications - this helps eliminate dosage errors!

The card is  8.5” x 5.5” and are about half the thickness of a normal credit card. These should easily fit in a pocket leg pocket or airway bag. The cards are a durable waterproof card made of plastic.
